SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR/COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Global Gaming and Wagering Company International All Sports (IAS) is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor/Compliance Officer. IAS is a publicly listed Company on The Australian Stock Exchange with annual turnover exceeding $1 Billion.
You will be an enthusiastic individual who possessed excellent interpersonal skills and a “can do” attitude. Your mission will be strategic. The role is primary accountable for establishing a “best in class” internal audit function. You will enjoy the challenge of identifying areas for improvement and increasing efficiencies.
You will report to the CFO and Audit Risk and Compliance Committee.
Key responsibilities include:
- The preparation of annual work audit plans including budget and resource plans;
- Design and implementation of audit work practices;
- Report on audit findings and make recommendations on remedial action;
- Monthly reporting to the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee;
- Coordination of external auditors;
- Assisting in the development of a risk management culture within the company;
- Compliance adherence with all Australian State, Territory & Federal Legislation and International laws.
Key Requirements for this role are:
- CPA/CA qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years Audit experience;
- Highly developed understanding of IT systems interface methodologies and accounting principles;
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised as well as a member of a team;
- Wagering and or Gaming experience would be advantageous.
